BEAUTY FOR ASHES

Inspired by the scripture verse Isaiah 61:3, Beauty for Ashes is an exploration of merging the movement and colors of street art and urban textures with high art. Seeing the beauty in the decay and paint layered walls of urban environments, these works seek to communicate the beauty that lies beneath and can be discovered when one chooses to see from a different perspective.
